Write an appropriate name for GPO and OK

Edit the created GPO

GO to User Configuration -> Policies -> Administrative Templates -> Right Click -> Add/Remove Templates…

click Add

Click on Policy_Templates -> windows ->adm -> en-US -> select chrome.adm file and Open

your ADM file is added now click on Close

Expand Administrative Templates: Policy Definition -> Classic Administrative Templates -> Google -> Google Chrome -> Extensions -> Configure extension installation blocklist

In the properties -> click Enabled -> show -> insert * value and OK

click Apply and OK

confirm of the state is change to Enabled

Link the group policy object


Run gpupdate on your AD and computers or wait some moment to take effect. once GPO reflected to computer try adding extensions
